- Shotcrete construction instead of gunite. Shotcrete is a stronger material, rated at 4500 p.s.i., almost twice as strong as gunite. Also, only shotcrete is resistant to sulphates present in the soil, which can deteriorate pool shells over time. Shotcrete - stronger/lasts longer.
- Raised pool walls are formed in steel with the pool, and constructed integrally with the pool shell. The shotcrete pool shell and shotcrete wall are one and the same. This makes a stronger wall that is less likely to be affected by soil movement over time.
